Free crochet pattern – Be a Knight

Free crochet pattern in PDF format.

All children love to dress up, and my son wanted to Be a Knight. So I grabbed some yarn and a hook and made him a helmet that would keep him warm as well if he decided to wear it outside.

He loved it and used it until it absolutely didn’t fit any more.

Here is the pattern for your personal use, so your child can play knight as well.

Pattern is written in US crochet terms.

You need about 50 g of sport or DK weight grey yarn, adding a silver crochet thread is optional. Crochet hooks 3 mm and 4 mm as well as a stitch marker are necessary. You will work in spiral rounds for the most part, please mark the last stitch of every round with the stitch marker or some scrap yarn. The crochet thread and the grey yarn are held together and worked as one.
