Straightforward pattern to make a cute baby hat with a rolled brim.

Knit in the round in stockinette stitch, then closed at the top with three needle bind off or seaming. I-cords tied into a knot give it a little extra touch of whimsy.

The optional three needle bind off is explained in the pattern, as well as the i-cords for the ties at the top.

You can easily adapt the pattern for different sizes or yarn weights.

Materials:
Sock yarn or cotton yarn for needle size 3 mm (US 2 or 3)
circular knitting needle or set of dpns 3 mm (Us 2 or 3)
and 2 dpns size 2.5 mm (US 1)

Gauge:
26 stitches and 36 rows make a square of 10 cm (4×4 inch)
